
Self-defense Workshop - not just on a physical level!
Because self-defense isn't about body strength and it doesn't start when you have to physically fight back!
What is it about?
- Taking care of your safety - mental, physical and emotional
- Knowing and respecting your boundaries
- Recognising and addressing abuse
- Standing up for yourself
- Saying NO
- And if it comes to it: to know how to react and retrieve yourself from dangerous situations → without having to be stronger than your agressor.
Agenda
This workshop is built on theory and lots of practice, discussions, role playing and self-defense moves.
Day 1 (5hrs):
- Introduction
- Self-defense: what it is, what it's not and legal consequences.
- Abuse
- Boundaries
- Saying NO
- What to do in case of emergency**
Day 2 (5hrs):
- Freezing, Run, Fight
- The Warrior Arquetype
- Practice
- Protecting yourself
- What to do in case of emergency**
- Support
- Wrap-up
**All moves will be practiced and built-up throughout the day in teams.
What to bring:
- Something to write with
- comfortable clothes
- something to drink
All materials for the exercises will be provided.
Note: This is a SAFE-SPACE
I do not make or allow videos during the workshop so that everyone can let go into the process and to ensure everybody's right to privacy.
I recommend you arrive 10-20 minutes before the session starts.

- To let go of the stress of the day, from the transportation, or of anything that might have happened during the day.
This gives you the opportunity to "arrive": to start bringing your focus here and now - to get ready to enjoy and make the most out of the session.
