
In Transformational Dance, movement develops with ease, lightness and joy; flowing adequately to your own body's needs and rhythm, promoting the release of tensions, stress and even blockages.
It trains us in consciousness, acceptance and allowance originating from the body, not from the mind.
It's about enjoying, exploring and expressing yourself through dance while moving “like nobody is watching”.
Enjoy the freedom to move as your body wishes/needs without your mind telling you that you have to do “this” or “that”.
→ There is no "right" or "wrong" way to move.
Your body knows what it needs: learn to listen to it and provide for it. Allow it to be (embodiment). Train your intuition. Recognize your boundaries.
Experience the freedom of being your-self, moving and expressing in a safe space without judgement or expectations. And allow yourself to enjoy it!
The sessions include arriving/grounding, group dynamics, embodiment, release, meditation, relaxation and rounding up/closing the session.
I guide you through the process while we move to different rythms, built into a wave that speaks to our bodies. It builds up to allowing the release of energy, tensions, stress, blockages, ... and all the way down to stillness, where it is possible to enjoy calm, relaxation and maybe even clarity.
My sessions are perfect for people who have never done something like this: No coordination, fitness or prior dance experience are needed.
All you need is:
We dance barefoot.
Videos are not allowed during the dance so that everyone can let go into the process (like nobody is watching) and to ensure everybody’s right to privacy.
I recommend you arrive 10-20 minutes before the session starts.
This gives you the opportunity to “arrive”: to start bringing your focus here and now and into your body, to be ready to enjoy and make the most out of the session.
Every experience is unique and different for everyone.
The more you let go to the music and allow yourself to experience and just be, the better it is for your experience and well-being.

As a person who has lots of energy, sitting down still is not for me. I have always enjoyed all kinds of movement, sports and dance (from ballet, to kapoeira) and I live to try new things.
Through Transformational Dance I have found one of the best practices to release my body from tensions and stress, stay flexible and resilient, feel and care for my body's needs. To experience the freedom of being present and being me, right here - right now!

Dancing?! Mind-blowing, but yes!
And not only that! I have been able to modify those behaviours also through Dance!
Because by being conscious, allowing the body to be, observing and accepting what is, in a SAFE-SPACE free of judgement and expectations, we are capable to be ourselves and realize what is really going on and let go of what we don't need anymore. Transformation can happen. Our innhate habilities to heal and grow bring us closer to ourselves and others in a healthy authentic way.
Although every session is different, I have never left a session without feeling refreshed, energized, free, empowered, blissful and connected.
I just love it.
